Accessing the connection ID

As described in Chapter 2, OpenEdge creates a unique ID for each connection to an AppServer. In any AppServer session that executes a request for a particular connection, you can access the connection ID as the value of the SERVER-CONNECTION-ID attribute on the SESSION handle. This is a read-only attribute of type CHARACTER.

Note: In state-free operating mode, the value of this attribute has no meaning.
